Do you have to pay for your own gown or dress? Are your parents expecting you to contribute to the dress? While money is a deciding factor in choosing the dress you wear to the dance, remember how easy it is to spend money on things that are never even seen!
I know of some girls that think nothing of buying a $50 bra and $11.50 for matching panties but who sees them? That latte from the coffeehouse everyday only adds pounds to work off and is the unlimited web access on my phone going to be something I look back on years from now and say “I loved how I could look things up at any time!”? Probably not! What about that concert or the hockey game you recently attended? The price of those tickets combined with parking, eating, tolls, etc and you could have a gown or dress you look fabulous in.
And though it may be tempting to pick something up from the department or chain store. That doesn’t always mean you are getting the best value. Cheaper fabrics and a poor fit will do nothing to make you look like the diva you are. Especially when you find that there are four other girls wearing the exact same style.
